Zue Sawtell believes that her ability to provide a quality style for each client lies in her conscious consideration of the health of the clients hair, the aesthetic that the client desires and the clients lifestyle (and ability) to maintain the style between hair appointments.
At Good Hair Salon, Zue specializes in natural hair extension services. Zue remembers being intrigued, as a pre-teen, by the way extensions can completely change the appearance of a persons hair. Early on, she found that she had a natural talent and affinity for using hair extensions to create beautiful and unique styles.
After graduating from high school, she began her cosmetology studies at the Seattle Vocational Institute (SVI). Shortly thereafter, she began specialized training as an intern under natural hair guru, Danyale Thomas. In 2008, after obtaining her cosmetology license, Zue was hired as a stylist at the Good Hair Salon.
Since earning her position with Good Hair Salon, she has continued to hone and perfect her skills by taking advanced classes, including a class in Natural Hair and Textured Weave Training with Taliah Waajid, as well as Weaving and Wigmaking workshops hosted by Elite Image. Never one to take her talent for granted, she believes in hard work, continual education and staying ahead of the curve.
